KPV is a short peptide of three amino acids, lysine, proline and valine, that matches positions 11 to 13 of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH).12 FDA reports it can be made by solid-phase peptide synthesis and is not a component of any FDA-approved drug.3 This vial holds 10 mg of a white freeze-dried solid, as the supplier describes it.4

| Storage | The supplier lists a shelf life of 36 months at -20 °C or 30 days at 2 to 8 °C, and says a mixed solution must be kept refrigerated at 2 to 8 °C.4 These are supplier statements, not independent stability data.4 |
Labs that need KPV in larger quantities can apply for a wholesale account. Bulk terms are confirmed on application.
KPV is a tripeptide, a chain of three amino acids: lysine, proline and valine.6 It is the tail end of alpha-MSH, a 13-amino-acid hormone, which is why PubChem files it as Msh (11-13).12 A 2010 review reports that, in lab and animal models, KPV keeps almost all of the anti-inflammatory capacity of alpha-MSH but none of its pigment action.11
Much of the research is in mice with colitis, where KPV enters gut and immune cells through PepT1, a transporter for small peptides.613 FDA's 2026 review found no clinical studies, case reports or human exposure data for KPV by any route.3 KPV for sale here is a 10 mg research vial; the selector shows the KPV price and stock. For mechanisms, side effects and the full source list, read What is KPV? before you buy KPV for a study.
KPV is not an approved drug.3 FDA's review dated May 12, 2026 says it has no USP or NF monograph and is not a component of any FDA-approved drug, and a Drugs@FDA search on October 24, 2026 found no approved KPV product.318 RAPS reported that on July 23, 2026, FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee voted 8 to 6, with 1 abstention, to recommend adding BPC-157 and KPV to the 503A bulks list, against the advice of FDA staff.19 NCPA reported that the votes are not binding on FDA and that pharmacies may not compound KPV until final rulemaking is in place.20 USADA's guide to the 2027 WADA Prohibited List, in force from January 1, 2027, does not name KPV but says that list names peptides in general under class S0.21
Solubility depends on the salt form. Citing vendor documents, FDA reports that KPV free base dissolves in water only up to 0.70 mg/mL, while KPV acetate dissolves at 5 mg/mL.3 The supplier does not name its form, though its listed formula and molar mass match the free base.92 At those limits, 10 mg would need about 14.3 mL of water as free base, or 2 mL as acetate, to dissolve fully (our arithmetic). Under acid, alkali and peroxide stress, KPV breaks down mainly into lys-pro-diketopiperazine.22
The reconstitution guide covers the lab steps, and the reconstitution calculator turns a vial amount and a diluent volume into a concentration. KPV is filed under anti-aging peptides and healing and recovery peptides, within the full research peptides range.
KPV comes as one 10 mg research vial, and the KPV price is $60. The selector at the top of the page shows the current figure and stock status. Bacteriostatic water is not included with the vial and is sold separately.4 Larger orders go through a wholesale account.
Yes, as a research compound only. Every vial is labeled: For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use. KPV is not an approved medicine, and FDA's 2026 review found no clinical studies of it in people.3 Health Canada lists KPV among unauthorized injectable peptides it has seized, and says a research-use label does not make such a product legal in Canada.10
D2C Peptides ships across the United States. Ship-from origins differ between products, so the selector at the top of this page shows where the KPV vial ships from and whether it is in stock. The shipping page covers delivery, and the returns page covers return terms.
Colder storage gives the longest figures. Citing a vendor's website, FDA's 2026 review reports freeze-dried KPV free base as stable for up to 3 years at -20 °C in a tightly closed container, 2 years at 4 °C and 3 months at 15 °C.3 No independent study of mixed KPV was found. Sealed and mixed vials are covered in How to store peptides.
Lab documents for our products are on the lab results page. FDA found that most certificates for KPV free base report only a purity result, with no impurity limits, and it could not tell whether microbiological tests are in place.3 Because different salts and derivatives are sold as KPV, check which form a certificate names: free base (342.43 g/mol) or acetate (402.5 g/mol).32
The supplier says the powder must be mixed with bacteriostatic water, which is not included.9 The supplies listed for this vial are bacteriostatic water, a 3 mL Luer-Lok syringe, an 18G 1-inch needle, insulin syringes and alcohol swabs. All of these are for lab handling, not for use in people.
