Privacy policy
D2C Peptides collects the details you give us when you order, apply for wholesale or write to us, plus the technical details any browser sends when it loads a page. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising, and questions you type into the chat assistant stay in your browser.
Draft for legal review.

What this policy covers
This policy covers d2cpeptides.com, orders placed through it or by email, wholesale applications and messages sent to D2C Peptides. It describes the site as it works today. Before we add a service that collects personal information, such as online payment or analytics, we will update this page.
What we collect
When you browse
Every page request reaches the company that hosts the site, which receives the technical details any browser sends: your IP address, your browser type, the page requested and the time. Pages also load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details.
Site search runs inside your browser. The words you search for appear in the page address, so they form part of the request the hosting company receives.
What your browser stores
On your first visit, the site asks you to confirm that you are 21 or older and that you understand every product is sold for research use. Your answer is saved in your browser's local storage under the name d2c_gate, with the time you accepted. If local storage is blocked, it is saved instead as a cookie named d2c_gate, which holds only the value 1 and lasts one year.
Your cart is saved in local storage under the name d2c_cart. It holds the products, strengths, ship-from origins, quantities and prices you added. Local storage stays on your device and is not sent to us. The site itself sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
When you order
The checkout form asks for your full name, email address, street address, city, state and ZIP code. A phone number, an apartment or suite number and order notes are optional. The form also asks you to confirm that the order is for laboratory research use. What happens next depends on how checkout is set up when you order. The form either sends these details and your cart to our order system, or opens a pre-filled email to us in your own email app. The checkout form does not ask for card details.
When you pay, the payment provider named at checkout, or in our reply to your order, handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.
When you write to us or apply for wholesale
The contact form asks for a topic and your message. When the form sends directly to us, it also asks for your name, your email address and an order number if you have one. When it opens your email app instead, we receive the email and the address it was sent from.
The wholesale application asks for your company or lab name, the type of buyer, your country and your website. It asks which product categories and products interest you, and your estimated monthly volume. It also asks for a contact name, an email address, a phone number and a message. The website, products, phone number and message are optional.
The chat assistant
The chat assistant runs in your browser. It answers from a file of our published pages and product data that it downloads from this site. The questions you type are not sent to us or to anyone else, and the assistant keeps no record of them. If an analytics service is added in future, the assistant may report the kind of question asked and the page it linked to, but never the words you typed.
Analytics
Some page elements carry event markers, such as a product being added to the cart. They send nothing unless an analytics service is installed, and none is installed at the time of writing.
Health information
We do not ask for health information and cannot use it to help you. Please leave it out of order notes, messages and applications.
How we use it
We use personal information to:
- process, ship and support your orders;
- answer messages and review wholesale applications;
- check that orders meet the research use policy and prevent fraud;
- keep the records that tax and other laws require; and
- keep the site working.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who receives it
We share personal information only with:
- businesses that help us fill and deliver orders, such as the business that packs an order and the carrier that delivers it, which receive your name, shipping address and the items;
- providers of our hosting, email and, once connected, payment services;
- public authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights and the safety of others; and
- a buyer of our business, if it is sold, under protections at least as strong as this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them to fill the order, handle any claim and meet tax and accounting rules. We keep messages and applications for as long as we need them to reply. The exact periods will be stated here after legal review.
Your choices
- See, correct or delete your information. Write to support@d2cpeptides.com. We may need to keep some records that the law requires.
- Clear what your browser stores. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes the gate answer and your cart. The entry questions then appear again on your next visit.
- Block storage and cookies. You can block both in your browser settings. If you do, the site asks the entry questions on every visit and cannot keep items in your cart from page to page.
Children
This site is for adults. You must be 21 or older to use it or to order, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe someone under 21 has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Keeping information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No way of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so never send card numbers or passwords by email or in a message to us.
Changes and contact
When this policy changes, we post the new version here and update the date at the top. Questions and requests can go to support@d2cpeptides.com or through the contact page.
