Testagen is a synthetic tetrapeptide, Lys-Glu-Asp-Gly (KEDG), from the Russian peptide bioregulator family tied to Vladimir Khavinson's group.95 Its developers link it to male reproductive function, but peer-reviewed work is limited to cell, chemistry and bird studies.5615 Each vial holds 20 mg of freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder.16 FDA has not approved it as a drug.13

Labs planning repeat or multi-site Testagen work can apply for a wholesale account; its terms are confirmed during the application.
Testagen is a short synthetic peptide: lysine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid and glycine, in that order (Lys-Glu-Asp-Gly, or KEDG).34 It belongs to the "peptide bioregulator" family developed in Russia by Vladimir Khavinson's group,9 whose 2021 review lists KEDG for regulation of male reproductive function.5 Where the sequence came from is not settled. The Khavinson group ties it to testis tissue, while bird studies from another Russian group describe KEDG as synthesized from the amino acid makeup of anterior pituitary extracts.596
This listing offers Testagen for sale as a 20 mg research vial. Its sequence differs from Epithalon (AEDG) only in the first amino acid.3 Claims that it raises testosterone or aids fertility rest on a developer report printed in a Russian drug reference, not a peer-reviewed journal.915 What is Testagen? weighs that evidence, the safety data and the doses used in studies.
Testagen is not an FDA-approved drug: as of October 2026, DailyMed holds no label for it.13 It is not on FDA's list of compounding substances that may present significant safety risks (Category 2), nor among that list's withdrawn nominations.14 ClinicalTrials.gov registers no trial of the peptide; its one "Testagen" entry is a study of Testagen TDS-Testosterone, an unrelated testosterone product.11 In Russia, a product named Testagen is sold as an oral dietary supplement, not as a drug.10 WADA's 2026 Prohibited List does not name Testagen, but its class S0 bans at all times any pharmacological substance not covered elsewhere on the List that has no current approval by any government health authority for human therapeutic use.12
KEDG carries three residues (Lys, Glu and Asp) that GenScript, a peptide maker, lists as prone to absorbing moisture, so the vial is best kept tightly capped, ideally in a desiccator.17 Bachem, another maker, advises against storing peptides in solution because they may slowly break down.18 The supplier gives a 30-day window for a mixed vial kept cold; we found no published stability study for Testagen solutions to back that figure.1615 For molar work, 1 mg of KEDG is about 2.24 micromoles at 447.4 g/mol, by our arithmetic.1 The reconstitution guide covers diluent choice and sterile technique, and the reconstitution calculator turns a diluent volume into a concentration.
Testagen ships from the USA and Canada to addresses across the United States. Pick an origin in the selector at the top of this page, and the stock badge shows whether the 20 mg vial is available from that origin. Order policies are on the shipping page and the returns page.
Put the vial in a refrigerator, away from light, as the supplier directs.16 For longer storage, GenScript gives -20 °C as its general condition for freeze-dried peptides.17 Testagen's sequence holds lysine, glutamic acid and aspartic acid, residues GenScript says tend to draw moisture from the air, so keep the cap tight and let a cold vial warm to room temperature before opening it.1718
Lab documents for our products are listed on the lab results page as they become available. On a Testagen certificate, check that the identity result fits KEDG, which PubChem lists as C17H29N5O9 with a molar mass of 447.4 g/mol.1 Look for net peptide content as well as purity: Bachem notes that a powder above 95% HPLC purity can still be only 70 to 90% peptide by weight, the rest being counter-ions and water.19
Five lab supplies are listed with this vial. Bacteriostatic water dissolves the powder, a 3 mL Luer-Lok syringe fitted with an 18G 1-inch needle moves the diluent, insulin syringes measure small volumes, and alcohol swabs clean the stopper. The reconstitution calculator shows the concentration a chosen diluent volume gives. All of this is bench handling, not directions for use in people.
No. It is sold for laboratory research and labeled not for human or veterinary use.16 PubMed holds no peer-reviewed human study of Testagen, and no trial of the peptide is registered.1511 The only human report we located was written by its developers, concerned oral supplement capsules, and appeared in a Russian drug reference rather than a peer-reviewed journal.9 Injected Testagen has no published human data.915
