Are your eyes dry? Do they often burn or feel gritty? The Eye Source is excited to offer a new procedure to help with your dry eye symptoms. Our Eye Lid Cleansing procedure helps to open the meibomian glands along your eyelids.
These glands secrete the lipid (oily) layer of your tears that help maintain a healthy tear film. Without this layer, your tears evaporate off of the surface of your eyes too quickly. This leads to burning, redness, irritation, and feelings of eye fatigue.
The Eye Lid Cleansing procedure opens and expresses your blocked meibomian glands. It is like a facial for your eyes!! If you are experiencing any of the symptoms of dry eye, give us a call today to see if this procedure would be of benefit to you.
We are happy to answer any questions you may have!
